Transitioning to PPL@Home: A Guide for Consumers and Personal Assistants

Thank you for submitting your information! Here’s what to expect next and how to prepare for a seamless transition to the PPL@Home system.

What to Expect Next

  • Consumers and PAs will receive an email with registration links for the PPL@Home system.
  • Your CDPAP facilitator will guide you through completing the required forms and next steps.
  • Expect orientation sessions to ensure a smooth transition.

Prepare for Registration

For Consumers:

  • Have your contact information ready.
  • Identify your personal assistant and their contact details.
  • Be prepared to complete the Consumer MOU and other documents.

For Personal Assistants:

  • Have your ID and employment eligibility documents ready (e.g., passport, Social Security card).
  • Gather your health assessment, immunization records, and PPD test results.
  • Be ready to complete online training and set up direct deposit.


Key Dates

  • January 6, 2025: Transition support begins for consumers and PAs.
  • March 1, 2025: First day for timesheets to be submitted via PPL.
  • March 28, 2025: Final deadline to transition to PPL as the fiscal intermediary.
  • April 1, 2025: PPL becomes the joint employer for all PAs.
